System Requirements...

To use WinTap you require:

• PC: an IBM PC 386/486/Pentium or 100% compatible, MS-Windows V3.11, Windows 95 or WIndows NT 3.5 or 4, 8+ Mbytes memory, 10+ Mbytes free disk space. The database can reside on a separate server if required.
• Monitor: VGA or compatible, mono or colour (colour recommended);
• LAN - NETBIOS compatible (any LAN officially supported by Microsoft ODBC and Access V2 - these include Microsoft LAN Manager, Windows NT, Windows for Workgroups, Novell Netware and LANtastic).
• Printers: Any Windows compatible printer - HP LaserJet recommended.
• Recommended configuration: 8+MByte 486 or Pentium processor system with Windows 95, colour SVGA monitor, fast disk drive and HP LaserJet IV. Owners of PC Notebooks are recommended to use a serial port or PS/2 mouse whenever possible, rather than a ball mouse or other pointing device.

WinTap uses Microsoft Access databases, SQL/ODBC for database access and is written in Microsoft Visual C++. Accessory programs are provided in Microsoft Access and Visual Basic. The current release is a single 16-bit application and thus runs across all the Windows platforms. For details of 32-bit only versions contact your supplier.
